Its in the blood; in the beautifully interwoven strands of DNA.  That’s where it comes from.

What is “it” you ask?

In layman’s terms, it is the preloaded OS that was already in effect upon my arrival here, the “batteries” that were included in me, if you will...

Never needing to be prodded,  I just simply knew things. “Things” I wasn’t supposed to know at age 5 like: “music = life” & “I can be anything I want to be”.

Mommy didn’t have to repeat herself too many times.  I understood.  I drew pictures of spaceships, aliens, & other galaxies while my peers finger-painted apple trees, & houses with red rooves on them.

I was created from day zero to shake things up, to trouble stagnant waters, to inspire, challenge, & above all, to innovate...

There are many who have gone before me, the “shapers” of this myriad of wonders that we call life; those that have paved roads for me to take in all of the sights and sounds, slowly, while driving my own brand of change..

I say all of that to say this:

The Rena1ssance is upon you.  Buckle up for the ride of your life...

more than a name...

the rena1ssance:  (French for "rebirth"; Italian: Rinascimento, from ri- "again" and nascere "be born" was a Cultual Movement that spanned roughly the 14th to the 17th century, beginning in Florence in the Late Middle Ages and later spreading to the rest of Europe. The term is also used more loosely to refer to the historic erabut since the changes of the Renaissance were not uniform across Europe, this is a general use of the term. As a cultural movement, it encompassed a resurgence of learning based on classical sources, the development of linear perspective in painting, and gradual but widespread educational reform. Traditionally, this intellectual transformation has resulted in the Renaissance being viewed as a bridge between the Middle Ages and the Modern Era. Although the Renaissance saw revolutions in many intellectual pursuits, as well as social and political upheaval, it is perhaps best known for its artistic developments and the contributions of such polymaths as Leonardo da Vinci and Michael Angelo, who inspired the term "Rena1ssance Man".
